Police ID man found shot and killed this morning

BATON ROUGE - Police identified the man they said was found shot and killed on Ford Street in Baton Rouge this morning.

Cpl. Tommy Stubbs said the body of Ron Derosin, 43, was found in the yard of a home in the 6200 block of Ford Street around 9 a.m.

Investigators said Derosin was riding his bike on Ford when he was shot. He abandoned the bike and collapsed in the yard where he was found.

Police said they do not have a motive in the killing at this time.
