Police: Gonzales man busted for 6th DUI
GONZALES - Police say they have arrested a Gonzales man for Driving Under the Influence for the 6th time following a crash last week.
Investigators say Willie Evans, 62, ran a stop sign before running into a building in the 1600 block of Philippe Ave. They say Evans admitted to taking prescription medication and drinking alcohol before the accident.
He faces charges of driving under the influence (6th offense), reckless operation of a motor vehicle and driving without a driver's license.
