Police: Fatal crash in Livingston Parish
DENHAM SPRINGS - State police say one man is dead after a fatal crash early Sunday morning.
It happened on La 16 south of La 1028 at around 1:30 a.m. Cameron Bordelon, 22, was thrown from his 2005 Toyota Corolla. A 16-year-old passenger suffered serious injuries.
Officials say he flipped his car, crashed into a tree and continued flipping down an embankment into a canal.
Police say he wasn't wearing a seat belt and may have been speeding. It is not known if Bordelon was impaired.
The crash remains under investigation.
