BATON ROUGE - Police arrested two Baton Rouge teens this week in a murder investigation from earlier this month.
Police charged Windall Herring, 19, with second degree murder in the death of John Bannon, 55. They also charged a 15-year-old juvenile who was being treated at a hospital with the same crime.
Investigators said on Feb. 1 Bannon was found with head injuries in the 1600 block of Lake Calais. He was taken to a local hospital in critical condition, and died from his wounds on Feb. 14.
Police said the motive for the killing is still unknown. Herring also faces charges of contributing to the deliquency of a juvenile.
