Police: 59-year-old killed in North Baton Rouge shooting
BATON ROUGE - Authorities responded to a shooting in North Baton Rouge late Wednesday morning.
The shooting was reported around 11:50 a.m. on Avenue E near Elmer Avenue. Baton Rouge Police say 59-year-old Billie Rollins of Baker was found lying next to a vehicle in the 10100 block of Ave. E.
Rollins was pronounced dead at the scene from apparent gunshot wounds, authorities confirm.
The investigation remains ongoing.
