Police: 4 teens arrested in carjacking of 77-year-old woman
NEW ORLEANS - New Orleans police say four teenagers have been arrested in connection with a carjacking of a 77-year-old woman in eastern New Orleans.
Police say the teenagers were arrested after they took the woman's vehicle Wednesday night and then crashed it after two police officers tried to stop them.
Police say the woman told investigators that one of the teens pointed a pistol at her head and demanded her car keys. The teenagers allegedly involved were ages 17, 16, 15 and 14 years old.
The teens face charges of carjacking and resisting an officer.
The woman was not injured.
