Police: 2 slain, 5 hurt in New Orleans shooting
NEW ORLEANS - Police say two people have been killed and five people, including a 2-year-old and a 4-year-old, were shot in the Lower Ninth Ward neighborhood in New Orleans.
Police spokesman Frank B. Robertson says the shooting happened Sunday night. He says the two children are in critical condition and two other people are in stable condition. He did not immediately give the condition of the fifth person wounded.
Robertson said he had no other immediate information to release.
