Pointe Coupee residents prepare for road repairs
NEW ROADS - More than 1,000 miles of rural roads across the state are getting a facelift.
The project comes after a new law was passed to help generate $425 million over three years to repair them.
The repairs will cost around $150 million the first year, with several parishes affected.
