Playhouse denied for young cancer patient
KANSAS CITY, MISSOURI- A homeowners association blocked a play house for a young cancer patient her parents wanted to build for her.
Pete and Jennifer Schultz say their six-year-old's health keeps her from playing with other kids, so she needs a playhouse of her own. Ella Joe Schultz has leukemia.
The homeowners group says their "hearts are with Ella Schultz and her family" but denied the plan for a barn-style playhouse because it didn't have enough details.
