Player taken away from football scrimmage via ambulance
BATON ROUGE- A Southern Lab senior was taken from a scrimmage by ambulance after he was knocked out Tuesday evening.
A coach told WBRZ News 2, the teen hit another player on the field at Parkview Baptist and lost consciousness. It was not clear which team the other teen involved was a part of, but the second person was not injured.
The name of the teen who was taken away by ambulance was not released. He did regain consciousness and was walking around before the ambulance left PBS.
