Pirates closing for summer
ORLANDO, FLORIDA- Visitors to Disney World in Orlando won't be seeing Captain Jack Sparrow this summer.
The popular Pirates of the Caribbean ride will close from mid-May through the end of September for a routine refurbishment. Disney say the repairs are not safety related.
The ride was also close for repairs for four-months almost ten years ago while new characters were added to conform with the film adaptations starring Johnny Depp.
