A pilot program to remove tainted Chinese drywall from Louisiana homes is expected to begin soon.
State Attorney General Buddy Caldwell says the program will include Ascension, East Baton Rouge Orleans and St. Tammany parishes.
The program only includes homes with drywall from Knauf Plasterboard Tianjin (KPT).
Caldwell's office sued KTP and other manufacturers of the defective drywall last year.
The drywall was used extensively during the rebuilding after Hurricanes Katrina and Rita.
About 109 homes will be included in the remediation program.
