A two car crash that happened just after six this morning took the life of one man from Pierre Part. Louisiana State Police Troopers say Randall Cavalier, 31, died when his truck crossed over into on-coming traffic on LA-70 in Pierre Part. Cavalier hit one other truck, but that driver sustained minor injuries. Cavalier was transported to Our Lady of the Lake Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

State Police say both men were wearing seat belts. Investigators are waiting on blood test before ruling out alcohol as a cause.
