CENTRAL - You can get into the fall spirit and help a great cause by visiting the annual Pumpkin Patch at Blackwater United Methodist Church in Central.

The patch raises money for church activities and mission trips. During the month-long event, area kids and invited out for fun, games and a lesson in everything pumpkin.

"They get to learn how the pumpkins grow from seed to maturity and that they can be used for all different things besides jack-o-lanterns like food and dishware," Linda Chapman explains.

The Blackwater United Methodist Church Pumpkin Patch is open seven days a week. Click on the video link for times.
