Photo of child in restroom leads to man's arrest
CLINTON, Miss.- Police say a 22-year-old Clinton man is accused of placing his cellphone in the bathroom of a service station where he worked and photographing a child without her knowledge.
Clinton Police Chief Don Byington tells The Clarion-Ledger David William Kent Jr. is charged with one felony count of child exploitation and one felony count of filming another without permission where there is the expectation of privacy.
Byington says Kent is being held without bond pending an initial appearance before a Clinton municipal judge.
Byington says Kent is accused of photographing a 10-year-old Clinton girl inside the bathroom.
He says Kent was arrested Wednesday night.
It couldn't be determined if Kent had an attorney.
