Pete Jenkins attracts NFL prospects to Baton Rouge
BATON ROUGE - In the world of coaching, there are very few defensive line coaches that have as much respect as Pete Jenkins.
That's why the 41 year vet is teaching a group of some of the most talented defensive lineman in the upcoming NFL drafted. Projected 1st round picks like Alabama's Jarran Reed and A'Shawn Robinson and Louisiana Tech's Vernon Butler have all chose Baton Rouge as their temporary home to learn from Jenkins at Traction.
Jenkins, who spent 13 years at LSU, is retired from the coaching ranks and lives in Baton Rouge. For Jenkins his love to still teach up and coming lineman is solely around making them better people all around.
