Person hit by vehicle outside prep football game
WATSON - State Police worked a crash involving a pedestrian outside of Live Oak High School Friday evening.
Authorities were dispatched to the scene after reports that someone was hit by a vehicle. Emergency crews were sent to the school shortly before 8 p.m.
The Live Oak High School football team was playing at home against St. Michael when the wreck happened.
A WBRZ crew at the school covering the game reported Highway 16 was closed as first responders worked the incident. There was a helicopter flying above.
Injuries were described as minor to moderate.
Authorities are expected to release more information overnight. Check back for updates Saturday.
