BATON ROUGE- People have lots of questions, two days after the police chief was fired.

"It's our money. We deserve to know," said Joe Fougerousse. Fougerousse was enjoying the Krewe of Southdowns parade Friday night, but still thinking about the events that happened earlier in the week.

Mayor Kip Holden has not responded to requests for interviews dealing with the firing of Dewayne White.

"He works for the people of the city of Baton Rouge and he owes everybody an explanation. There was once a famous man that said the 'The Buck Stops Here,'" said Warren McAlvain.

"Well, I guess in the Baton Rouge area, the buck stops at his desk."

The city fired White Wednesday afternoon and said it was a personnel matter, and would not comment more.
