BATON ROUGE- A murder Tuesday night on Wyoming Street has many people on edge.
People living near the crime scene said they have already started looking for other apartments. One homeowner says she no longer goes out at night. Others question police response time.
Police say the area north of campus is a high crime area, but the current crime numbers are not above normal. They also claim officers must follow protocol when responding to a call, with more urgent crimes receiving higher priority.
