People arrested protesting BR man's death in Philadelphia
PHILADELPHIA - The death of a Baton Rouge man in an officer involved shooting has had a ripple effect across the country with millions voicing their frustration online and some organizing protests 1,200 miles away.
Demonstrators took to the streets Wednesday night for a protest in Alton Sterling's honor. They held signs and banners and chanted about his death.
A dozen protesters ended up in handcuffs. Police say they were sitting on the ground blocking an interstate ramp and refused to move when asked.
