BATON ROUGE- The battle continues over a company whose charter was revoked by the State Board of Education. Pelican Educational Foundation will square off against BESE again today.
Pelican says a judge needs to overturn BESE's decision to revoke their charter.
This comes after allegations of rape and sexual incidents between students at Abramson Charter School in New Orleans.
Abramson closed last month as the state investigated complaints about kids as young as kindergartners engaging in sex acts.
The state expanded its investigation to Baton Rouge, where Pelican operates Kenilworth Science and Technology Charter School.
