Pedestrian taken to hospital after reported hit-and-run on Hooper Road
BATON ROUGE- Authorities say a pedestrian was struck by a vehicle Tuesday evening.
The incident happened around 7 p.m. Tuesday in the 11000 block of Hooper Road.
According to the Central Police Department, the victim was riding a bicycle before being struck by a dark-colored SUV. Officials believe the fleeing vehicle is missing a passenger side mirror.
The victim was transported with non-life-threatening injuries.
