Pedestrian struck, Traffic Homicide Unit investigating
BATON ROUGE- A pedestrian was struck at the corner of Oswego Street and North Acadian this evening. The Traffic Homicide Unit is investigating.
It happened around 8 p.m. tonight.
The pedestrian was taken to a hospital with serious injuries according to witnesses. Those witnesses also told News 2 they saw the pedestrian walk into traffic when the crash occurred.
Detectives took pictures of the scene trying to piece together what happened.
