BATON ROUGE - Baton Rouge police are investigating a crash that killed a pedestrian on Airline Highway.

Police say Shawn Sterling hit and killed a 54-year-old man as he was trying to cross Airline Highway just south of Prescott Road.

Sterling was arrested in suspicion of DWI and booked into the parish jail.

The name of the victim has not been released.

Anyone with information should call the Traffic Homicide office at 389-7819.
