Pearl River wildlife area closes, high water

A wildlife area in southeastern St. Tammany Parish has been closed due to flood waters.
State officials said Monday that they had closed the Pearl River Wildlife Management Area because flood water levels were so high.
Closing the wildlife area means hunting will be off-limits until water levels drop to a safe level.
