Paying to freeze for Super Bowl
NEW YORK- Fans who buy the best seats for the Super Bowl can expect to pay double to freeze in the outdoor MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey in February. The NFL says the highest priced tickets will sell for $2,600 and there are 9,000 premium seats. The highest price for last year's Super Bowl in New Orleans was $1,250 and that was indoors in the Super Dome. The next level of seats is expected to go for $1,500 compared to $950 last year. The league says almost half the general admission tickets will be under a thousand bucks.
