The Klotzbach-Grey team conveniently adjusted their storm projections, originally posted a couple of weeks ago. Dale Link has successfully predicted hurricanes for 16 years. Dale focuses on "Zones" that will be impacted in a season. In 2012, Hurricane Isaac made landfall on the Louisiana coast and Link correctly identified Zone 1, incorporating the southeast Texas coast and the Louisiana coast. Last year he "zoned-in" on the New Jersey shore where Superstorm Sandy beached. Looking back to 2011, Zone 1 was the southern Texas coast from Corpus Christi to Brownsville. Tropical Storm Don made landfall there and Zone 2 was the Carolinas where Hurricane Irene hit. Zone 1 this year? The Louisiana coast with Zone 2, Georgia and the Carolinas.
