Pastor who wanted to burn Qurans out of jail

LAKELAND, FLORIDA- A pastor who said he intended to burn 2,998 Qurans for each of the 9-11 victims posted bail to get out of jail on Thursday. Terry Jones and his associate pastor were arrested on felony charges for unlawfully carrying fuel when he drove a pickup towing a large barbecue-style grill filled with kerosene-soaked Qurans. He went to a park where he said he intended to burn them on the 9-11 anniversary. Jones had a applied for a permit which was denied. He's also charged with unlawful open-carry of a firearm which is a misdemeanor. Bail was $1,250 for each of the men.
