Passenger transported to hospital after trapped for more than two hours
FRENCH SETTLEMENT- The passenger of a car that was trapped for over two and half hours following a crash on Highway 444 has been transported to the hospital, according to sources.
The driver was transported by helicopter and according to sources, there are no injuries reported at the time of this post.
According to Acadian Ambulance, the crash occurred at 12:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Emergency responders were still in the process of extricating the driver from the car as of 3:15 p.m.
The identity of the driver has not been released as of 4 p.m. on Tuesday.
