Parts of Hwy. 61 closed overnight due to wreck
WAKEFIELD - State Police anticipate Highway 61 in rural West Feliciana will be closed well into Monday night and into early Tuesday morning after a truck carrying soybeans overturned.
Troopers advised southbound lanes of the highway are closed at Brown Road. Brown Road is south of Highway 421/Spillman Road.
A State Police spokesperson said there were no injuries in the crash.
An alert from state traffic monitors suggested one of two northbound lanes is being used to move traffic around the southbound closure.
