We will have to dodge some showers and thunderstorms this afternoon as a dissipating upper-level low moves across South Louisiana. Some of the storms could become strong with heavy rain and gusty winds. It will be very warm and humid with highs in the mid 80s.
The showers and storms will linger through the evening hours before dissipating around 9 PM. Then we will be left with partly cloudy skies and temperatures in the 70s.
The rain will end overnight and we will have mostly clear to partly cloudy skies. It will be mild and a little muggy with lows in the lower 60s.
Be sure to watch my latest video forecast for more details on the storms today.
