We will have partly to mostly cloudy skies with isolated showers and thunderstorms popping up this afternoon. This is all due to a weakening upper-level low moving out over Texas into the Gulf of Mexico. That low will take most of the rain associated with it into the Gulf, but a few storms will move across South Louisiana. It is going to be a warm afternoon with high temperatures in the mid 80s.
The clouds and a few showers will linger over Baton Rouge this evening as the temperatures fall into the 70s.
Mostly cloudy skies with spotty showers are expected tonight. It will be mild with lows falling into the lower 60s.
