It is a mostly clear to partly cloudy start to this Wednesday with cool temperatures in the upper 50s to lower 60s. You may want that light jacket!
The upper-level low that was over Eastern Texas yesterday is now located over North-Central Louisiana. Since it is taking its time moving to the east, we will feel the impact of it today. You can expect to see partly cloudy skies with isolated showers and a few thunderstorms this afternoon. Some of the storms could produce heavy rain and have small hail. It is going to be a warmer day with highs in the mid 80s.
The rain will come to an end tonight as the disturbance/low moves to the east. We will be left with a few clouds and pleasant conditions. Low temperatures will cool down to the lower 60s.
