The cold front that brought us the rain yesterday is now sitting along the Louisiana Coast. We have some clouds this morning, and it is a little cooler with temperatures in the 50s.
As the front sits along the coast, it also curls north over Eastern Texas. At the same time, a weak disturbance will move across the state, and it will have a little moisture to work with as it passes through. This will allow us to have spotty showers and thunderstorms popping up with the heating of the day. Otherwise, it will be partly cloudy with high temperatures in the upper 70s.
Any rain we get will dissipate after sunset, and then we will see some lingering clouds overnight. Low temperatures will be near 60.
