We have a pleasant start to the day with mostly clear skies and cool temperatures in the upper 50s to lower 60s.
It is going to be a much warmer and more humid day. The area of high pressure is to the east of Louisiana and that will allow for southerly winds to pump up moisture from the Gulf of Mexico. This will make it partly cloudy with highs in the mid 80s.
A cold front will move toward and eventually through Baton Rouge late tonight/early Thursday Morning. This will give us mostly cloudy skies with scattered showers and a few thunderstorms. Some storms could be strong at times, but severe weather is not anticipated right now. It will be a warmer night with lows in the mid 60s.
