The cold front continues to be stalled north of Baton Rouge or over Central/Southern Mississippi. This means we will have more of the same type of weather we've had for the last few days - partly cloudy, hot and humid with isolated thunderstorms. Any storm could be strong with heavy rain, gusty winds and a lot of lightning. High temperatures will be in the lower to mid 90s. The heat index will be around 100+.
Some storms will linger into the evening before the dissipate by 10 PM tonight. Then we will have a few leftover clouds with low temperatures in the lower 70s.
