An area of high pressure is moving over the Southeast U.S. this afternoon. This will bring Baton Rouge southeast winds which will usher in a little Gulf Moisture. That will make it partly cloudy, and a spotty shower will also be possible along and south of I-10. It is going to be a very warm with high temperatures in the mid to upper 80s.
It will be mostly clear this evening as any rain comes to an end. Temperatures will fall into the 70s.
Look for a clear, cool and comfortable night around town. Patchy fog can also be expected. Low temperatures will be in the lower 60s.
