It will be another hot afternoon with partly cloudy skies. Isolated showers and thunderstorms will also pop-up thanks to the tail-end of a cold front sitting near Baton Rouge, a disturbance moving from Texas toward Louisiana and daytime heating. Some of the storms could be strong to possibly severe with gusty winds, heavy rain and hail. High temperatures will be in the lower 90s.
Some of the storms will continue to move through town this evening. Otherwise, it will be partly cloudy with temperatures in the lower 80s.
The storms will dissipate tonight and we will be left with a few clouds. It will be mild and pleasant with lows in the mid 60s.
