Parking war over
BATON ROUGE- A compromise makes everyone happy near a popular restaurant on Highland Road.
Wednesday, Sammy's Grill got what is has been asking for: to rezone property for additional parking. But, there will not be an entrance to the lot from a nearby neighborhood.
"We're glad there was a compromise and that everyone will benefit from the compromise," said Randy Macon who lives behind the grill. He said he is for business growth but was concerned about the added parking lot at first.
The rezoning allows for parking access around the restaurant.
