Parking garage closed due to cut tension cable
BATON ROUGE- A contractor cut a tension cable inside a downtown parking garage, closing it for an undetermined amount of time.
The West Garage is out of service until a repair can be made. The severed cable compromises the design of the garage.
Closure eliminates 552 spaces temporarily. But, a larger garage across the street remains open. The East Garage accommodates 885 parking spaces.
