GONZALES - The city of Gonzales has implemented new parking regulations, creating a four-hour parking limit on city streets during the day.
Mayor Barney Arceneaux says a committee made the recommendation in November to address several complaints that some businesses use city parking spaces to park company vehicles when not in usage.
The four-hour limit applies to all streets from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Saturday.
The rules are not in effect on Sundays.
