Parents plead for info after son killed
BATON ROUGE- Two days after Jeffrey Francois, 28, was shot and killed on Underwood Avenue near North Foster, his parents are pleading for help finding the shooter.
"He didn't bother nobody, he didn't ride with any and everybody, he loved his family, his brother, his sisters and for them to shoot him in the back it's almost like executioner style, somebody needs to tell or say something," said his mother, Patricia Francois.
His parents don't think he was alone when the shooting happened.
"Someone knows, someone knows, somebody heard something or seen something, he wasn't by himself," said Jeffery McCallope, Francois' father.
Francois had recently moved home to Baton Rouge to start working with his father painting homes.
"In fact the guy I work with had just planned on him going to wash down a tall house, because he wasn't scared of heights, he'd go up in the air, but he's not here now," said McCallope.
Police are asking anyone with information to contact investigators with the Baton Rouge Police.
