Parents demand answers following school raid
BATON ROUGE- Less than a day after the FBI raided Kenilworth Science & Technology school, parents of students there are demanding answers.
"It concerns my child, and I think it's something that definitely needs to be talked about," said Cathy Green, who's child attends the school.
The FBI wouldn't comment on the raid nor confirm if there is an investigation into the Pelican Education Foundation, the group that runs the charter school.
Another school in New Orleans run by the Pelican Education Foundation was shutdown after allegations of sexual misconduct, but the Baton Rouge school was recently granted an extended charter in the state.
Now parents are unsure if they should look elsewhere to educate their children.
"When the truth comes out I will make a decision and I really hope that Kenilworth Science and Technology is doing the right thing so my grandson can be educated correctly," said Diana Bibbens.
