Pajama-wearing bank burglar wanted
BATON ROUGE- East Baton Rouge Sheriff's Office announced that they are searching for a man who attempted to burglarize a bank Monday while wearing pajamas.
It happened around 3 a.m. at the Chase Bank in the 1300 block of O'Neal Lane.
Deputies responded to the bank after several interior motion alarms went off. When they arrived, they found a broken window located at the rear corner of the building.
Deputies found an opened cabinet and drawer located behind the main counter, though no money was kept there after business hours.
Surveillance video caught a man wearing a white polo-style collared shirt with multicolor horizontal stripes, green pajama pants with yellow images on them, black shoes, green gardening gloves, and a black cloth item (possibly a shirt) over his head.
Anyone with information concerning this incident or the identity of the suspect is asked to contact the East Baton Rouge Sheriff's Office at 225-389-5000.
