SCHRIEVER - Terrebonne Parish Sheriff’s Office deputies are looking for a pair of suspects wanted in connection with an armed robbery in Schriever that happened on Monday night.

34-year-old Sara Longnecker and 30-year-old Jordy Smith, both of Thibodaux, are wanted for armed robbery with a firearm.

Deputies said they responded to reports of the armed robbery in the 200 block of Patrick Drive on Monday at 7:05 p.m. When they arrived at the scene, they found the victim had already left.

During the investigation, deputies learned that the victim of the armed robbery had been invited to the Patrick Drive residence in order to visit a female acquaintance, Longnecker.

The male victim told authorities that Longnecker answered the door and invited him in. After entering the apartment, the victim said he was approached by a man who authorities say was Jordy Smith. The victim told deputies that Smith pointed a handgun at him and demanded his money, watch, cell phone and car keys. The victim gave up the items.

Deputies said Longnecker then used the victim’s keys to enter his vehicle, stealing a backpack inside that contained clothing and other personal items. After Longnecker searched the victim’s vehicle further, she gave him back his keys and allowed him to leave the scene.

Further investigation by TPSO detectives allowed them to obtain the arrest warrants for Longnecker and Smith. Anyone with information on the duo is urged to contact the Terrbonne Parish Sheriff’s Office at (985) 876-2500.
