Pair arrested in traffic stop drug bust
DONALDSONVILLE - Crack, marijuana and cocaine were found by Ascension Parish Sheriff's deputies during a traffic stop recently that resulted in the arrest of two men from Donaldsonville.
Johnel Peters, 43, and Todd Garnett, 36, were arrested and charged with possession with intent to distribute various drugs. The men were arrested Wednesday. The details were released a day later by the sheriff's office.
Deputies said the drugs were found after they pulled the men over and searched their vehicle.
