CENTRAL - Firefighters say they didn't have to go far after a cement truck overturned and spilled its load right in front of a Central fire station Tuesday morning.

The Central Fire Department responded to reports of a crash on Greenwell Springs Road near Donnybrook sometime before 9:30 a.m. There, firefighters found an overturned cement truck, with its load spilling into a nearby ditch.

The driver of the vehicle was not injured, however crews had to remove the back glass of the vehicle to get him out.

Greenwell Springs has also been temporarily shut down in the area as workers clear the scene.

There is no word on what may have caused the crash.
