Ouachita Parish football player killed in crash
MONROE - A high school football played was killed in a car accident in Ouachita Parish.
State Police say the accident occurred Saturday afternoon near Monroe.
Police say Howard Coleman, 63, was driving west on a Louisiana Highway and crossed the center line and hit Dillon Neal, 17, who was traveling west down the same Louisiana Highway head on.
Neal was a football player for Ouachita Parish High School.
Coleman and Neal were killed, and the passenger in Neal's car was hospitalized.
