The U.S. Postal Service's Baton Rouge processing and distribution center has been cited for allegedly
exposing employees to electrical hazards.
The U.S. Department of Labor's Occupational Safety and Health Administration announced the violation and proposed penalties totaling $97,500.
The facility has 15 days to comply, ask for an informal conference with OSHA's area director in
Baton Rouge, or contest the citations and proposed penalties before OSHA's review commission.
