Orleans coroner IDs body dumped in garbage can
NEW ORLEANS - The Orleans Parish Coroner's Office has identified a woman whose body was found dumped in a garbage can earlier this week.
The woman, who was stabbed to death, was identified as 43-year-old Trinece Fedison. A city building inspector found the woman in the can Wednesday. New Orleans Police Officer Frank Robertson III says the inspector moved the can to get down an alley about noon and opened it because it felt so heavy.
Robertson says the inspector had been surveying an abandoned house, but the trash can was behind an occupied house.
